Unable to play anymore .avi files on Samsung BD5500

Hi,

I installed Playback on the latest version of Mac OS to stream media content on Samsung BD5500 (http://www.samsung.com/ca/consumer/tv-v ... returnurl=)

When first intalled, Playback worked like a charm. I selected a folder where all my movies, most of them in .avi format, where in Playback and it all work easily. Only movies and music bought on itunes did not work (Playback does not show them on the BD5500). Even .mkv movies worked well.

I copied the entire folder to a new location on a new disk, and now only MPEG-4 movies work. All .avi movies and .mkv movies does not work anymore. I put one .avi movie on a usb disk and try to play it on the BD5500 directly and work well. However, I copied back a few .avi to its original location on my other disk and did not work. All these movies were working perfectly before that I copied them on on new location.

PS: I converted one .avi movie into MPEG-4 format and worked well.

What version of Mac OS X is this?

Does changing the Content setting on the shared folder to : Show me everything

help?

My MAC OS X version is 10.6.4

Show me everything is checked. I can see all movies but when I click on them to play the BD5500 says wrong format. I just finished trying Twonky server and it plays well all movies as Playback use to do it before this problem.

Also, I tried to uninstall playback and reinstall the software, and it did not work. Same problem does not play .avi movies (divx).

I would also like to add that when I change the container format from .avi to .mp4 it plays well on the BD5500.

PS: do you have any news on the log files / debug key I sent.
