If you are not ready to upgrade to Speed Download 5 you may easily keep using Speed Download 4. SD4 is still 100% supported under both Mac OS X Tiger and Leopard.

Make sure you have Mac OS X 10.4.6 or later.

Please follow all these steps exactly in the order presented.

- Quit any running copy of Speed Download.
- Quit all your browsers.
- Run the SD Uninstaller (also located in every Speed Download folder).
- Log out.
- Log back in.
- Put the Speed Download folder in the Trash.
- Empty the Trash.

At this point, there should be no trace of Speed Download anywhere on your system and any downloading should be intercepted normally via your browser of choice.

Please re-download the latest version of Speed Download 4.1.19 from our website.

- Once you download the above file and mount the image, drag the Speed Download folder from that image into your Applications folder.
- Double click on the Speed Download application to launch it.
- If you've registered, click on the 'Enter Registration' button in the upper right and copy paste your registration. Make sure you copy/paste the information exactly as is making sure you don't accidentally add any extra spaces (esp. at the end of either the username or the code). The code is encrypted and hence why it's so long. Don't try to enter the code manually.

If you haven't registered, you may continue to use SD in DEMO mode for 21 days.

- Follow through with the prompts and let SD install the components it needs to function.
- Restart your browser and SD should now intercept all your downloads.
